VOCAL COACH | MUSIC DIRECTOR | ARRANGER | ACCOMPANIST
WHAT I'VE
DONE
Leandro is currently a Music Supervisor for Norwegian Cruise Line. He has installed shows on multiple vessels for Norwegian and Oceania Cruise Lines. He has worked on Priscilla: Queen of the Desert, Kinky Boots, Burn the Floor Syd Norman's Pour House and he is the resident MD for Choir of Man on NCL. One of his main focuses is on vocal health and helping singers create a strong, healthy, sustainable sound that can be maintained over the course of their contracts.
After graduating college, Leandro moved to Atlanta, GA to work for the Renaissance International School of Performing Arts, as a Voice Teacher and Music Director. During that time, he had many students in final callbacks for multiple Broadway shows. A few of them went on to book Tuck Everlasting, Violet, and The Addams Family.
From 2013-2016, Leandro was the Resident Music Director at RWS Entertainment Group in NYC. He acted as the Music Director for the Holland America Cruise Line division of the company, which included workshopping/creating new shows and installing them on board multiple ships, as well as Music Directing the replacement casts. He was also the vocal arranger for twelve of their shows, as well as A Music Box Christmas for HersheyPark.
Prior to working at RWS, Leandro was (and still is) one of the Music Directors of the Broadway Dreams Foundation (BDF), which has given him the opportunity of being the piano accompanist for various Broadway stars. Leandro has traveled with the BDF team to Atlanta, Omaha, Philadelphia, New York City, Charlotte, Los Angeles, and Hartford.
KAILA CASSLING, PACE UNIVERSITY COMMERCIAL DANCE
Leandro is the most fun and dedicated vocal coach I’ve had. He really knows and understands what he talks about. His knowledge for each individual's voice is extensive and will go above and beyond for you. He is eccentric, supportive, personable to say the least.
I highly recommend him!
